There is a cyclonic area between Nice and Genoa. So we ask Marseille ATC to fly direct to Sardinia. Having had the flight plan approved we take off at 11.30 lt and climb to level 140. The Bonanza is wonderful - as it has been for the entire trip - so we avoid all storms flying over the Mediterranean Sea at a 180 knots ground speed and land in Modena at 14.35 after 3 hs. flight only. This unforgettable adventure is finished. We have visited wonderful sites and seen extraordinary landscapes in the sky, we have met people of various Countries and enjoyed a unique experience of flying.
Soon we will start the planning for the 2001 expedition. Michele suggests Greenland.
We will see….
